Benjamin Peeris

Benjamin Peeris is a Business Analyst who has worked in the field for over six years. Benjamin began their career as a Business Intelligence Analyst with MLH Group, where they designed and developed Qlikview and Qliksense dashboards and ETL procedures for better insights in Supply Chain Analytics and Demand Planning. Benjamin also developed Machine Learning models for demand forecasting using Python libraries. After two years with MLH Group, Benjamin became the Deputy Manager of Human Resource Analytics with PSA International Pte Ltd. In this role, they served as the subject matter expert in data analytics for the HR team, leading the change from traditional reporting to more dashboard-based self-service analytics in HR. Benjamin also led various projects across diverse functions to build Qlikview and Qliksense dashboards that enabled business users to better utilise their data. Functions included Workforce Strategy, Resource Planning, Recruitment, Benefits Management and Staff Engagement, answering questions ranging from "what interventions do we need to reduce attrition i.e. why are staff leaving?" to "how can we maximise productivity by ensuring staff is gainfully deployed in operations?" and "how can we achieve optimal staffing levels over the next few months?". Benjamin is currently a Business Analyst with Visage, where they have been for the past year and a half.

Benjamin Peeris has a Master of Science from Rennes School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering from National University of Singapore. Theirfocus is on analytics in marketing, especially with respect to time series forecasting, social media intelligence, database architecture, e-marketing, customer analytics, and market research analytics. Theirgraduating project was on social media analytics, titled "Social Media Activism and Sustainable Investment."
