Violaine Pierre

Violaine Pierre is a social entrepreneur and impact investor based in New York City. Violaine is the co-founder and strategic advisor of Visit.org, an online platform that connects over 500,000 travelers with 4,000+ social impact experiences in 150 countries.

Before Visit.org, Violaine was the NYC French Tech Manager at La French Tech, where they supported the development of the French startup ecosystem in New York. Prior to that, they worked on Emmanuel Macron's presidential campaign as a project manager and later served as the Voices of Youth French Coordinator at UNICEF.

Violaine started their career in the social sector as a Children Programs Manager at Entrepreneurs du Monde, an organization that provides financial and technical assistance to microfinance institutions serving low-income entrepreneurs in developing countries. Violaine later transitioned to the impact investing space and worked as an Impact Evaluation Field Coordinator at The World Bank.

Violaine is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris and has a master's degree in Public Administration from Columbia University.

Ms. Pierre has a Master's Degree in Economics and Public Policy from the École Polytechnique, and a Master's Degree in Economics and Public Policy from Sciences Po. Violaine also has a dual degree in Sciences and Social Sciences from Paris VI / Sciences Po.
