Donna Nelis

Donna Nelis currently serves as the Vice President of Operations for Hospice and Palliative Care at the Visiting Nurse Service of New York since August 2015. Prior to this role, Nelis held various leadership positions including General Manager at VITAS Healthcare from March 2005 to June 2015 and Vice President of Business Development at Caring Hospice Services from August 2002 to March 2005. Nelis began the career as a Sales Representative at VITAS Healthcare from March 1993 to March 2000 and worked as a Social Worker at Fox Chase Cancer Center from January 1986 to July 1993. Nelis's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Boston College.
