Bart Roberts has an extensive and diverse work experience spanning several industries. Bart began their career as a Police Officer in the City of Dallas, where they worked in various roles within the police department.

In 1987, Roberts joined American Airlines, where they served as a B-727 Flight Engineer Check Airman and later became a Supervisor, overseeing CRM programs and developing FAA-mandated human factors training.

After leaving American Airlines, Roberts joined the US Navy in 1980 and held various leadership positions, including Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, and Operations Officer. Bart retired with the rank of Captain and also served as a Flight Instructor in multiple aircraft.

Roberts returned to American Airlines in 1998 as a Fleet Training Manager and Check Airman, responsible for training programs and standardization for the Boeing 777 and MD-80 fleets. Bart later served as Managing Director Flight/Chief Pilot, Director of Boeing Fleet-Flight Standards and Training, and Vice President Flight Operations.

In 2014, Roberts joined JetBlue Airways as Vice President Flight Operations before moving on to other aviation companies. Bart held roles such as Chairman of the Safety Review Board at Green Africa, Chief Operating Officer - North America at Vistair Systems, and Chief Pilot in Residence at the same company.

Currently, Roberts is the Executive Director at Cirrus Aircraft, overseeing the growth and development of customer relationships and managing flight operations at the McKinney, Texas factory support center.

Throughout their career, Roberts has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in aviation safety, and a passion for promoting excellence in the aviation industry.

Bart Roberts received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Marketing from The University of Texas at Dallas, where they studied from 1986 to 1989. Bart also obtained an Associates Degree from an unspecified institution between 1975 and 1977. Additionally, Bart holds certifications such as CFI, CFII, MEI from the Federal Aviation Administration obtained in July 2018, and an Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate from the State of Texas obtained in 1977. Bart also holds ATP Ratings for various aircraft models from the Federal Aviation Administration.
