Clint Vallandingham is currently a Senior Manager for BI & Analytics at [Visual BI](/org/visual-bi-solutions-inc). Clint has over fifteen years of experience in the IT field, with a focus on data analytics and business intelligence. 

Clint started their career as a Solutions Architect for [Marathon Consulting](/org/marathon-consulting). There, they worked with the newly formed Data Analytics department to design and build an information delivery system to be used throughout the Chartway Enterprise. Clint also designed and developed a Data Warehouse environment using SQL Server Integration Services 2016 and advanced data warehousing concepts including a Kimball approach to design. In addition, they developed several SQL Server Analysis Services 2016 Tabular Models directly sourced from the Data Warehouse using advanced DAX formulas to support complex reporting requirements. 

Clint then assisted with the design of the Data Analytics delivery platform using PowerBI, SharePoint, PerformancePoint, ReportingServices (including Mobile Reports) and PowerPivot for Excel. Furthermore, they supported the infrastructure and configuration of the Microsoft based environments using both On-Premises and Azure based components to maximize availability. 

Clint also has experience in the hospitality industry, supporting and enhancing an existing Data Warehouse environment using Integration Services and advanced SQL Server programming and tuning techniques. Clint also developed a new data source for the Data Warehouse to support Marketing feedback from an external vendor. The ETL process they developed used SFTP, SSIS and advanced SQL Server Merge procedures to effectively processes millions of records.

Lastly, they have experience working with police departments to help support the Juvenile Habitual Offenders project using Excel PowerPivot.
