Alejandro Escallon

Alejandro Escallon has extensive experience in the energy and finance sectors, currently serving in the LNG division at Vitol Group since February 2019. Prior to this role, Alejandro participated in the Global Oil Trader Graduate Scheme at Glencore from June 2017 to January 2019, focusing on Fuel Oil and LNG. Alejandro also gained valuable experience as a Securities Division Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs in summer 2016, where responsibilities included principal funding and investments, as well as EM structuring strategies and credit trading. Early career experience includes an internship with the National Planning Department DNP in 2015. Alejandro holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Magna Cum Laude in Economics, Philosophy, and Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania (2013-2017) and completed a Two Subject Moderatorship in Mathematics and Economics (Honors) at Trinity College Dublin (2012-2013), complemented by education at the Hotchkiss School from 2009 to 2012.
