Niclas began his career at Vivino in 2017, joining the Customer Experience (CX) team as the company expanded its wine sales operations. In his role as CX Program Lead, he was responsible for training, managing, and growing the CX team based in Dublin, Ireland, where he relocated. During his tenure, the team expanded from 5 to 25 members. Later, he played a key role in transitioning the CX team to a partner site in Lisbon, Portugal, where the team grew to over 50 employees.
Before Niclas joined, Vivino had launched an early version of its Marketplace platform, which would become his primary focus in his journey with the company. In his Marketplace roles throughout the years, he worked cross-functionally with Vivino's Product, CX, and Finance teams to ensure the efficient operation of the Marketplace platform. He also maintained strong connections with merchant partners worldwide, assisting them in scaling their businesses on Vivino while ensuring excellent service levels for shared customers. Starting with just 5 test merchants in Denmark, the Vivino Marketplace platform now boasts over 1200 merchants across 19 markets, remaining at the forefront of Niclas's attention.
