The board of directors at Vizgen has a long history of experience in the field of biology and engineering. Hansjörg Wyss, a professor of biologically inspired engineering at Harvard University, is a core faculty member at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering. He is also a professor of pathology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Hansjörg Wyss Professor of Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard Medical School. Prior to his current positions, he was a postdoctoral fellow and research assistant at Harvard University and JILA, respectively. He also worked as a postdoctoral associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In addition to his academic accomplishments, he is also the author of Walking Out A Way of My Own (Chinese Edition). Hansjörg Wyss is not the only board member with an extensive academic background. Other members include those with degrees from Stony Brook University, the University of Michigan, the University of Colorado Boulder, and Harvard University. The board of directors at Vizgen also has experience in commercializing science from their time spent at Harvard Business School.
