Karl Cordemans has extensive experience in archaeology, currently serving as an archaeologist at Vlaamse Landmaatschappij since February 2003, where responsibilities include overseeing archaeological aspects throughout various project phases and engaging in policy-related matters such as legislation and management. Prior to this role, Karl was a scientific researcher at Universiteit Gent from February 2000 to February 2003, focusing on archaeology and spatial planning. Earlier experience includes working as a scientific researcher for Provincie Antwerpen from April 1999 to February 2000, specializing in soil science for the High-Speed Train project between Antwerp and Breda. Karl holds a Master's degree in History, Archaeology, and Pedology from Ghent University and completed a humaniora program at St-Pieters College.
