Matt Solven has extensive experience in the automotive finance sector, currently serving as Chief Risk Officer and Risk and Controlling Director at Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) since March 2015. Prior roles have included Business Performance Director and Audi Finance General Manager, where critical responsibilities involved formulating strategic relationships between VWFS and Audi, managing commercial operations, and leading initiatives to enhance sales volumes and customer loyalty. Prior to this, Matt excelled as Audi International Brand Manager for the UK and Ireland, where achievements included the successful execution of growth plans across multiple European markets. Matt began the professional career at Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) in 2003, steadily advancing through various roles including Product & Profit Analyst, culminating in several internal promotions. Matt holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Nottingham Trent University.
