Shigeru Harasawa

Shigeru Harasawa is the current Country Manager for Japan at Vymo. Prior to this, they were the Country Manager (General Manager) for Japan at DataRobot from January 2016 to December 2020. There, they were responsible for starting DataRobot's business in Japan and recruiting top resellers from the ground up. Shigeru also led direct sales to big name companies such as SoftBank and Recruit. Under their leadership, DataRobot Japan went from zero to profitable, with over 50 employees in Japan.

Prior to their work at DataRobot, Harasawa worked at IBM from March 2011 to August 2014, where they were the BigData Analytics Sales and Technical Director. Before that, they were the Director of Systems Engineer at Netezza from January 2007 to March 2011. Harasawa was also a Founding Member of the technical side at Experian Japan K.K. from September 2004 to January 2007.

Shigeru Harasawa was a mathematician who studied at the University of California, Berkeley.
