Matthew Whelan

Matthew has attained over 25 years of experience during the span of his career in Commercial Multi-Site Facility Maintenance and holds an MBA in business management. Earlier in his career, Matthew played an integral role in the development, growth and success of a family business, Whelan’s International, which was a well-respected leader in the facilities maintenance industry. Since that time, Matthew has spent the past several years building and shaping W Services into a premier organization that is known and well respected for its excellence and expertise.

Matthew is well versed in the development and execution of best practices and programs that deliver the greatest client experience and results in cleaning and construction services today. Because of his experience and education, he is deeply committed to continually improve processes, programs, and financial efficiencies in both his own company and the operations of his clients and partners. Matthew leads and elevates the employees, clients and contract partners of W Services in order to create positive and impactful long-term relationships. It is Matthew’s goal to ceaselessly create an environment and culture that fosters development, innovation, success and security for all.

Matthew has and continues to dedicate time and efforts to perpetuating the growth and development of the facilities management industry through his volunteer work with professional groups. He is currently an active member of CONNEX and RFMA Associations and has served on the CONNEX Board and been Co-Chair of PRSM’s Best Practices Committee. Additionally, Matthew is on the Board of Directors for The Whelan Foundation, which is a 501C3 that provides support in the form of scholarships to individuals both impacted and supporting those with learning disabilities. When he is not improving processes and creating positive cultural experiences, Matthew can be found either playing hockey or enjoying his wonderful family.
