Thijs van Son

Thijs van Son is an engineer currently working at Wajer Yachts since March 2022, where roles have included Captain and participation in a Kantoorstage as part of the Maritime Engineering program. Thijs served as a private chauffeur for Mobiliteitsdiensten Nederland B.V. from December 2022 to March 2025. An Afstudeerstage at De Vries Scheepsbouw Makkum took place from February to July 2024, culminating in a project completed with a grade of 8. Additional experience includes serving as Treasurer for Sv NES and various roles in retail and support services, such as a Sales Assistant at Albert Heijn and vacation positions at Croonwolter&dros and Residentie Wilgenhof. Thijs is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture/Maritime Engineering at NHL Stenden, with an additional minor in Business Management from Hanze University. Educational background also includes VWO and HAVO in Nature & Technology from Augustinianum.
