Colton Smith

Colton Smith is a seasoned professional in the field of real estate finance, currently serving as Senior Director of Capital Markets at Walker & Dunlop since November 2020. Concurrently, Colton holds the position of Adjunct Instructor for a Real Estate Finance Course at the University of Utah starting April 2023. As Managing Principal at Bridge Commercial Capital since January 2012, Colton oversees a private money mortgage lending operation focused on commercial real estate investment properties. Previously, Colton worked at Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation in various roles, including First Vice President Capital Markets and Associate Director, managing debt and equity relationships across the Mountain West Region. Prior experience includes serving as VP of Investments at Front Gate Companies, where Colton managed real estate sales, marketing efforts, acquisitions, and capital raising for diverse projects. Colton's educational background includes a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Investment from Harvard Extension School and an MBA in Finance from the University of Denver, along with a BS in Public Relations from the University of Utah.
