Tina Shafer

Tina Shafer is a highly accomplished music professional, recognized for founding and serving as Artistic Director of The New York Songwriter's Circle since 1991, where responsibilities include organizing showcases and judging talent for an annual songwriting contest. With extensive experience as a songwriter and vocal coach, Tina has written for renowned artists such as Celine Dion and Donna Summers, and has taught voice to both established and emerging talents, including Lana Del Rey and Billy Porter. Tina's education includes studies at The Juilliard School and the Cleveland Institute of Music, where degrees in voice, opera, piano, composition, and music theory were earned.
