Alice Cai

Alice Cai is currently serving as a Firefighter/EMT for the Washington Township in Dublin, Ohio, and with the Big Walnut Joint Fire District since January 2023. Prior experience includes working as an Emergency Medical Technician with the Morrow County Fire Fighters and Squadman Association and as a Public Policy & Civic Engagement Intern at Equitas Health. Alice also held multiple positions at Nationwide Children's Hospital, including Program Director, Assistant Program Director, and Teaching Assistant within the Mechanisms of Human Health and Disease Program. Academic contributions include research roles at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and College of Veterinary Medicine, focusing on bacteriophage therapy and developing HIV-1 infection models. Legislative experience includes roles as a Legislative Page and Intern in the Ohio House of Representatives. Alice holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from The Ohio State University and graduated from Dublin Coffman High School.
