David B.

David B. serves as an Adjunct Professor in Healthcare Management and Director of the Best Practices Center for Healthcare Operational Excellence at Washington University Olin Business School since 2009. The Best Practices Center focuses on helping health systems and healthcare organizations address operational excellence, supply chain, and care delivery challenges. Prior to this role, David B. founded and served as President of Heartland Innovations, LLC from June 2006 to August 2021, and held various positions in sales and engineering management at Dade Behring from 1996 to 2006, as well as engineering and distribution management at DuPont from 1982 to 1996. David B. earned an Executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
