Andy Buck

Andy Buck is an experienced professional in waste management and recycling outreach, currently serving as the Bay Area Outreach Manager at Waste Connections since September 2024. Prior to this role, Andy held positions including Senior Program Coordinator at the County of Marin and Community Outreach and Business Development at Waste Connections. With a background in coordinating commercial recycling programs at Marin Sanitary Service, Andy has developed expertise in crafting effective recycling and composting initiatives for various businesses and multi-family housing units. Previous roles also include work with the Sustainable Systems Research Foundation, leading waste audits at UC Santa Cruz, and managing projects that aim to enhance recycling compliance among local businesses. Andy holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
