VP, Research & Waste Stream Sustainability at Wastequip

Kristin Kinder joined Wastequip as VP of Research and Waste Stream Sustainability in 2018. With over a decade of waste industry experience, Kristin serves as an expert on key industry topics, driving positive environmental change, developing partnerships, and speaking about sustainability. Prior to joining Wastequip, Kristin specialized in behavior change at Waste Management, where she worked on the national Recycle Often. Recycle Right ™ campaign and developed the Seattle Think Green Recycling Challenge. As a sustainability consultant at ENGIE Insight, Kristin performed waste audits for Fortune 500 companies and eventually led product strategy for waste consulting. Her 2017 TEDx talk has inspired thousands to rethink the materials they consume, and she was recently honored with Waste360’s 2019 40 Under 40. Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science from Santa Clara University and a Certificate in Environmental Law and Regulation from the University of Washington.
