Renee Kayal is the MD of Governance, Association Engagement, & Special Projects at Water Environment Federation. Renee has been with the company since December 2002, previously serving as the Manager of Technical and Educational Programs. Prior to their time at Water Environment Federation, Ms. Kayal was the Manager at United States Telecommunications Training Institute from July 1997 to December 2002.

Renee Kayal has a professional certificate in change management from Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business, an executive certificate in non-profit management from Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy, and a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Willamette University. Renee also has a certification in diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.

Renee Kayal reports to Walter Marlowe, Executive Director. They work with Camille Leverett - Senior Director, Membership & Customer Relations, Lorna Ernst - Senior Director, Publishing, and Lisa McFadden - Director, Water Science & Engineering Center.
