Michelle E. Eckler

Michelle E. Eckler, EdD, currently serves as an Adjunct Professor in Educational Leadership at Sacred Heart University since July 2024, teaching courses in advanced curriculum. Since November 2019, Eckler has held multiple roles in Waterbury Public Schools, including Supervisor of Technology for Teaching and Learning, Administrator of the Virtual Learning Academy, and Supervisor of Secondary English/Language Arts. Prior experience includes serving as Secondary Curriculum Supervisor of English at East Hartford Public Schools, where responsibilities encompassed supervising English/Language Arts teachers, curriculum oversight, and professional development. Eckler's career also includes roles as Middle School Scheduler at East Hartford Public Schools and various teaching positions in Naugatuck and Milford Public Schools. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education from Northeastern University and advanced degrees from Sacred Heart University and Southern Connecticut State University.
