Akhilesh Mohan

Akhilesh Mohan is a seasoned Motion Controls Engineer at Waymo, leveraging extensive experience in robotics and aerospace engineering. Since February 2020, Akhilesh has contributed to advancements in motion control systems, enhancing self-driving technology. Previous roles include Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where significant improvements were made in human intention learning and planning algorithms for aerial robots, and internships focused on motion control at Waymo. Akhilesh has also held engineering positions with the National University of Singapore, Land Transport Authority of Singapore, and Rolls-Royce, specializing in system design, computational fluid dynamics, and measurement techniques. Akhilesh earned a Master of Science in Robotics from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
