Catherine A. Brown

Catherine Brown is the chief administrative officer for Wells Fargo Advisors. In this role, she oversees the premier manager and advisor programs, Higher Education Conferences, the Excellence First program, and the company’s overall business administration. She sits on the Operating Committee and reports directly to the head of Wells Fargo Advisors.

Catherine has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years, beginning her career as a client associate at Dean Witter Reynolds, then as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, and then serving various roles at PNC Bank. She joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2011, and for six years was a senior human resources (HR) business partner for its retail brokerage channel. Before her current position, she most recently was the head of HR for Wells Fargo Advisors.

Catherine earned her bachelor’s in finance from Ohio University’s College of Business and is a graduate of the Cannon Trust School. She is a volunteer coach for Girls on the Run St. Louis and serves as the executive sponsor for Wells Fargo’s St. Louis Volunteer Chapter.

She and her husband, Michael, are proud parents to Drew and Colin, who attend the University of South Carolina and the University of Arkansas, respectively.
