Jim Franklin is the finance senior leader for Wells Fargo Advisors. In this role, he is responsible for leading an experienced team of finance professionals dedicated to providing financial support and guidance to Wells Fargo Advisors. He is focused on supporting leadership from a finance perspective, including providing consultative financial support and business analytics to enable business strategy, activities and initiatives. He also sits on the Operating Committee.

Jim has 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined the company in 2005 and has served as senior manager in finance – supporting a variety of areas including the retail brokerage, Products and Advice, Client Experience & Growth, Client Service and Advice, and Operations and Branch Infrastructure. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors, he was the chief financial officer for the Private Client Group business unit at Merrill Lynch from 1987 through 2005.

Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Scranton and a masters in finance from Pace University New York.

Jim and his wife, Amy, enjoy traveling to visit their families on both the east and west coasts. They have three daughters: Alexandra, Sarah, and Grace.
