Katherine Boutin

Katherine Boutin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in managing investigations and legal proceedings. Currently serving as Senior Manager of the Special Investigations Unit at WellSense Health Plan since January 2014, Katherine has been instrumental in creating and overseeing the unit, focused on addressing fraud and abuse within health care for Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Prior to this role, Katherine held the position of Trustee at the Alexander Eastman Foundation and worked as a Senior Investigator at WellPoint, where expertise included managing health care fraud investigations and compliance with regulatory standards. Earlier in career, Katherine served as an Assistant County Attorney at both the Grafton County and Hillsborough County Attorney's Offices, prosecuting criminal cases and representing civil matters. Katherine holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law and a Bachelor's degree with double majors in English Literature and Criminal Justice from Westfield State University.
