Hemant Porwal is currently the Executive Vice President of Supply Chain & Operations at WESCO International. Hemant has previously held the position of Vice President & Chief Procurement Officer at Sears from May 2011 to December 2014. In this role, they were responsible for $6BN in spend across Direct and Indirect categories including Capital, Advertising & Marketing, Fleet, Energy, Corporate Services, Information Technology, MRO, Travel, and Print.

Porwal has extensive experience in developing and implementing world-class category sourcing playbooks and has a proven track record in driving productivity and innovation with strategic suppliers. Hemant is also skilled in establishing policies & procedures and ensuring compliance across an organization.

Porwal holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Punjab University and an MBA from Xavier University. Hemant is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

Hemant Porwal has an MBA in Finance & Leadership from NYU Stern School of Business, a MS in Information Systems from The University of Texas at Arlington, and a BS in Civil Engineering from Shivaji University. Hemant also has certification from the Institute for Supply Management in CPSM.
