Sean Bulger

Sean Bulger is an experienced academic and administrator currently serving as the Associate Dean for Graduate and Online Education at West Virginia University since August 2005. In this role, Sean provides oversight for the College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences' Office of Student Success, focusing on student recruitment, retention, and support services. Additionally, Sean is a Professor who engages in research related to children's physical activity promotion and teaches at multiple academic levels. Prior experiences include positions as Assistant/Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where Sean directed the Human Performance emphasis program, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at West Virginia University and North Dakota State University, where Sean contributed to physical education training and research. Sean holds a Doctor of Education degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from West Virginia University, a Master of Education from North Dakota State University, and a Bachelor of Science from Canisius University.
