Glenn Frankel

Glenn Frankel is an experienced IT professional currently serving as a Principal IT Associate at Westat since December 2008, with prior roles as a Senior IT Associate and Software Designer. Frankel earned a Master's degree in City and Regional Planning from Georgia Tech (2006-2008) and a BA in Computer Science from Brown University (1987-1991). Previous experience includes leading the team at Microsoft responsible for the development of time-management and task-related tools for Outlook and designing user features for the Microsoft Office suite. Frankel also worked as a Software Engineer at Electronic Book Technologies, Inc. from 1991 to 1997 and as a Head Teaching Assistant at Brown University from 1989 to 1991, where assistance was provided for computer science courses. Additional coursework in African Studies was completed at Friends World College in 1990.
