Philipp Smaczny

Philipp Smaczny is an accomplished finance professional with significant experience in the affordable housing sector and commercial real estate finance. Currently serving as Senior Director of Affordable Housing Finance at Western Alliance Bank since October 2017, Philipp has previously held roles as Vice President in the same department. Prior experience includes positions at Morgan Stanley as a CMBS Originator and Senior Underwriter, and FMS Wertmanagement as Vice President of Global Workout. Other notable roles include Senior Manager of Finance at MPG Office Trust, Vice President of CRE Investment Banking at Eurohypo AG, and Associate at Fremont Investment and Loan.
