Paulo Caricati

Paulo Caricati, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Non-US Risk Management at Western Asset Management, a position held since December 2007, overseeing the International Risk Management Group for portfolios in EMEA, APAC, and LATAM from local teams in London and Sao Paulo. Previously, Paulo held roles at Western Asset Management as Head of EMEA & LATAM Risk Management and Head of EMEA Risk Management, managing substantial assets across various fixed income mandates and enhancing risk management integration in portfolio construction. Earlier experience includes leadership in fixed income investments at Citi and a role as a Bond Trader at Lloyds TSB. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, and multiple executive courses at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, following a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
