Christoph Schleicher

Christoph Schleicher is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Executive Director and Head of Systematic Trading R&D at Westpac since September 2013, leading initiatives in Financial Markets, Systematic Trading, Analytics, and Quants. Prior to this role, Christoph held the position of Director and Head of Research - Electronic Trading at Westpac. Christoph's earlier experience includes a strategist role at GSA Capital from October 2006 to December 2012 and an economist position at the Bank of England from August 2003 to September 2006. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics and Applied Mathematics from The University of British Columbia, a Master of Arts in Economics from McGill University, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Vienna.
