Michael McNeil

He oversees all aspects of the company's operations, relationships, and related strategies. A proud native of Lower Hutt, he is one of the longest-standing members of the executive team. Michael joined Wētā for Lord of the Rings after spending a decade at a U.S. law firm as an IP and business litigation partner and playing a similar role at one of New Zealand’s leading law firms. He has also served as the business affairs executive for animated television/streaming productions and entertainment technology company acquisitions.
