Georgina Fletcher

Georgina Fletcher currently serves as the Director at Anchor Whakatane since September 2023 and has held various roles at the Whakatāne District Council since May 2013, including General Manager Community Experience, Commercial Development Advisor, and Strategic Property Manager. Previously, Georgina worked as a Solicitor at Hamertons Lawyers Limited from July 2010 to September 2012, focusing on Property and Commercial Law, and served as In-House Counsel for Property at Mighty River Power for a fixed term. Early legal experience includes positions as a Senior Solicitor in Real Estate at Herbert Smith Freehills and as a Solicitor in Property at Chapman Tripp. Georgina Fletcher earned a Bachelor’s Degree in LLB/BCOM (Economics) from the University of Otago between 1997 and 2001, and attended Iona College in Havelock North from 1992 to 1996.
