Sunanda Venkataraman

Sunanda Venkataraman currently serves as the Head of Business Development at WhiteOak Capital since May 2023. Previously, Venkataraman held the position of Vice President at DSP Mutual Fund since June 2017, focusing on distribution tie-ups and business development across banks, private wealth counters, and retail segments. Earlier roles at DSP Mutual Fund included Associate Vice President, managing institutional sales for the Chennai region, and Manager in Institutional Sales, overseeing corporate clients and ensuring fund flow into fixed income and equity funds. Venkataraman's career began at Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance, where responsibilities included leading the bancassurance vertical and managing a team of sales managers. Venkataraman also served as Assistant Business Development Manager, supervising national distributors. The career started with a Management Trainee position at Tata AIA Life Insurance. Venkataraman holds an MBA in Sales & Marketing from IBS Hyderabad and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from MOP Vaishnav College.
