Dean Apistar

Dean Apistar has extensive experience in data management and monitoring within environmental and conservation contexts. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Data for Decision Making at Rare since June 2014, Dean Apistar provides technical support for project site monitoring and collaborates with various teams for funding proposals and donor reporting. Prior roles include Manager and Associate in Monitoring and Evaluation at Scuba Schools International, along with leadership in research and monitoring at Coastal Conservation and Education Foundation, Inc. Dean Apistar's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Bicol University and completed units toward a Master's degree in Environmental Science from the University of San Carlos.
