Lynne Weedall

Lynne Weedall is an independent non-executive director at William Hill. Lynne has previously served as the Remco Chair at William Hill plc, the global sports betting and gaming business operating in 13 countries, 60% of the business online. In April 2021 the business was purchased by Ceasars for £2.9bn. Prior to that, Weedall was the group HR director at Selfridges Group, the leading provider of luxury shopping experiences for millions of customers around the world through iconic, innovative and inspiring retail destinations in Canada (under the Holt Renfrew brand), Netherlands (under the deBijenkorf brand), Ireland (under the Brown Thomas brand) and UK (under the Selfridges & Co brand). At Selfridges Group, Weedall was responsible for all aspects of the People Agenda for the combined Group, working closely with the Weston family to deliver a senior leader generational succession and transition plan and led a cultural digital transformation from retail-centric to omni channel.
