Tim Moberg

Tim Moberg is currently the Manager at WilliamsMarston. Prior to this, Tim was a Graduate Assistant at James Madison University from January 2016 to December 2016. There, they provided administrative support to faculty in the College of Business, including grading projects, tests, and quizzes, proctoring tests, and assisting with research papers and compiling data.

From January 2017 to April 2020, Tim worked as an Assurance Senior at EY. In this role, they participated in training to prepare for auditing the financial statements of public and private entities. Tim also worked with EY audit teams and members of client's finance staff to perform audits.

Before their time at EY, Tim was an Accounting Intern at Aware, Inc. from May 2013 to July 2013. There, they worked directly under the CFO and Controller and performed various projects such as updating monthly revenue analysis schedules, preparing sections of the 10-Q P&L to adjust for discontinued operations, creating deferred revenue schedules, and preparing a sales history analysis to identify potential revenue recognition issues. Tim also spent time with members of the finance and IT staff learning about their functional areas. This included meeting with the Controller to learn about the monthly closing process, the A/R manager to learn about customer billing and cash receipts application, and the IT Director to learn about how IT works in a public company.

Tim Moberg's educational career includes a Master of Science in Accounting from James Madison University and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the same school.
