Uri Salazar

Uri Salazar is a skilled Software Tools Engineer with a strong background in software development and engineering, currently employed at Wind River since August 2022. Salazar has designed internal tools that automate the generation of Component Design Artifact Documents for certification projects using Python and Polarion’s SOAP API. Previous experience includes contributions to web application patch development at Wind River, as well as developing a Large Language Model for audio captioning at the University of California, San Diego. Earlier roles include a Fulfillment Associate at Amazon, a tutor at Riverside Community College District, and research in image processing aimed at dengue virus prevention at the University of California, Riverside. Salazar holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Machine Learning and Controls from UC San Diego, and an Associate of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Riverside City College.
