James Molesworth

James Molesworth is a seasoned wine expert with extensive experience in the wine industry, serving as Senior Editor and Special Projects Director at Wine Spectator and M. Shanken Communications since February 1997. Molesworth specializes in California Cabernet and Pinot Noir, Bordeaux, Port, and New York State wines. Prior to current roles, Molesworth worked as a sommelier at the 21 Club, managing wine sales and inventory, and as a cellarmaster at Burgundy Wine Company, focusing on customer service and sales. Molesworth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, earned between 1988 and 1992.
