Aaron Bonk

Aaron Bonk, P.E. is a highly experienced structural engineer with a focus on transportation infrastructure. Currently serving as the Chief Structures Design Engineer at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation since June 2010, Aaron has held various leadership roles within the Bureau of Structures, including Design Unit Supervisor and Automation, Policy, & Standards Engineer. Prior to this role, Aaron worked at Cold Spring Design, LLC as a Structural Engineer and at Pierce Engineers, Inc., also as a Structural Engineer. Aaron's career began as a Structural Engineer Intern at Dimension IV Madison Design Group and included internships at the City of Monona Parks & Recreation and JSD Professional Services, Inc. Aaron earned a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in December 2006.
