Julian Naidoo

Julian Naidoo is the Chief Executive Officer of Rubic One Health since January 2021, focusing on vaccine development and manufacturing. Naidoo also serves as the Head of Wits Development Enterprise at the Wits Health Consortium since January 2015. From September 2010 to April 2022, Naidoo held the position of Director at Futurenergys, specializing in sustainable development and carbon trading. Naidoo was the Chairperson of the Special Economic Zones Advisory Board at the Department of Trade and Industry from April 2015 to April 2021 and served as Director at The BRICS Institute from August 2017 to April 2019. Naidoo's previous roles include Executive Director of Business Development at Moya Group, Partner at KPMG UK, and Deputy Director General at both Gauteng Treasury and the National Treasury of South Africa. Naidoo holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, along with a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Maryland and a Post Graduate Degree in Health from the University of Cape Town, complemented by a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
