The executive team at Wolfram has a long history in the field of mathematics and computer science. The team's founder, Stephen Wolfram, is a professor of physics and mathematics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also the founder of Wolfram Alpha, a Wolfram Research company. The team's other members include long-term members of the Institute for Advanced Study and faculty members of the California Institute of Technology. All members of the team have degrees in physics or mathematics from prestigious universities, such as the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, and Caltech.
