Leading insurance brokerage provider Woodruff Sawyer has announced that current company CEO Andy Barrengos has been appointed to the role of CEO and Chairman. Barrengos who has served as company CEO since 2016 will replace former Chairman Stan Loar who will assume the role of Chairman Emeritus.
Woodruff Sawyer Senior Vice President and Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee Kristy Furrer commented "Woodruff Sawyer continues to grow and evolve while remaining true to our core values. Barrengos joined Woodruff Sawyer as an SVP and Partner in 1996. He had a tremendous impact on the firm's growth and was appointed CEO in 2016. Barrengos graduated from Wesleyan University in 1986 with a BA in English and Economics.
