Nikki Arm

Nikki Arm is an accomplished Instrumentation Engineer currently working at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution on the Ocean Observatories Initiative. With a strong commitment to promoting STEM education, Nikki owns Girls Love STEAM, a company dedicated to encouraging young girls in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math activities, and has authored and illustrated the Girls Love STEAM book series. As a co-owner and graphic designer at Puffy Fish Designs, Nikki creates Dungeons and Dragons inspired designs. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Shop Technician at Cal Poly Machine Shops and working as a Teaching Assistant for Mechanical Designs II. Nikki's background also includes internships at Global Ocean Design and Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and leadership roles in FIRST Team Paradox 2102. Nikki holds a blended Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
