Matthew Zed

Matthew Zed is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in metocean engineering and coastal simulation. Currently serving as the Plant Simulation Platform Lead and Senior MetOcean Engineer at Woodside Energy since June 2014, Matthew has taken on various roles, including BI & Analytics Visualisation Manager and Lead Data Scientist. Prior to this, Matthew worked at WorleyParsons as Manager of Coastal Simulation Australia and Senior Coastal Engineer, and held positions at Asia-Pacific Applied Science Associates and Westmar Consultants. Matthew began a career in engineering as a Graduate Coastal Engineer and has also contributed as a Research Associate. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce in Environmental Engineering from The University of Western Australia, completed in 2007.
