Jim Mazzarella

Jim Mazzarella is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in technology development and product advancement. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Electromechanical Technology Development at Woodward, Inc. since May 2025, Jim has previously held significant roles including Vice President of Engineering at Azul 3D, Inc. and Onto Innovation, where expertise in cross-functional team leadership and complex systems was demonstrated. Earlier experiences include key positions at ASML and Makino, focusing on strategy and product design. Jim holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and is ABD for a Ph.D. in Laser Damage in Optical Coatings and Glass from the University of Rochester.
