Larry Rittenberg

Larry Rittenberg serves as the Chair of the Audit Committee and Board Member at Woodward, Inc. since July 2004, having been the Chair since 2011. At the University of Wisconsin, Rittenberg holds the position of Ernst & Young Professor of Accounting, focusing on Governance, Risk, Control, and Auditing while also serving as an Emeritus Professor. Rittenberg has extensive involvement with The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc., including current membership on the Board of Trustees and the International Professional Practices Oversight Committee, along with past leadership roles. Additionally, Rittenberg was Chair Emeritus at COSO and played a pivotal role in the development of the 1999 definition of internal auditing. Rittenberg's academic background is rooted in studies at Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business.
