Mathias Ihlenfeld

Mathias Ihlenfeld began their work experience in 2003 as a SAP FI/CO Competency at Karl Storz Endoscopy. Mathias then moved on to work as an IBM Managing Consultant at Commercial Metals Company and Schneider Electric. In 2007, they joined IBM as a Managing Consultant in the Financial Management Practice, where they received multiple IBM Service Excellence Awards. Mathias also worked as an IBM Managing Consultant at Transfield Services. In 2011, Ihlenfeld started their own consulting company called Ihlenfeld Consulting LLC., where they provided SAP Consulting in Financial Management to various industries, including a role at Schneider Electric. In 2014, they founded woom bikes USA, a company that offers high-quality, lightweight bikes for children in North America. Under Ihlenfeld's leadership, woom bikes USA grew to become one of the fastest-growing companies in the United States. In 2021, they became the Global Chief Customer Officer and one of four managing directors at woom, where they expanded the brand's e-commerce and customer experience capabilities. In 2022, they were appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of woom before taking on the role of Managing Director for North America in 2023.
