Shelby Reese

Shelby Reese is an Associate Software Engineer at Workiva since December 2021, following a Software Engineering Immersive program at General Assembly where Shelby developed over 10 applications. Prior experience includes roles at Support, Inc., as a Day Services Manager, where responsibilities involved customer support, conflict resolution, and participation in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council, as well as serving as a Staffing Coordinator and Direct Support Professional. Earlier positions included Engineer II in Predictive Maintenance Engineering at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, a Summer Undergraduate Laboratory Internship at National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and a Research Assistant at New Mexico State University, culminating in a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from New Mexico State University in 2016.
