Kathleen Chung

Kathleen Chung is the current Chief of Staff at WorkOS. Prior to that, they were an Innovation Technology Strategist from January 2017 to December 2019. There, they analyzed and evaluated blockchain system designs, including formation, incentives, governance and adoptability. Kathleen also moderated the “Following the Money” panel at VR 20/20 at NY TV Week, driving discussion on the VR/AR investment landscape outlook. Generated insights on current industry challenges and the necessity of developing key success metrics. Additionally, they organized Jump Into VR Fest, a three-day VR-focused conference, orchestrating 64 speakers and panelists. Curated separate professional, creative and philosophical tracks, tailoring unique content for different audiences. Cultivated relationships with 5 VCs/Angel funds to meet and review the proposals of 15 companies, providing feedback on their pitch, investment thesis and business plan.

Before that, Kathleen Chung was the Director of Equity Capital Markets at UBS Investment Bank from January 2014 to December 2016. There they were responsible for providing analysis and advice on all aspects of ECM transactions including IPOs, rights issues and private placements for both corporate and institutional clients.

Prior to that role, Ms. Chung served as Vice President of Equity Capital Markets at Macquarie Group from January 2008 to December 2014 where they were responsible for leading and executing various ECM transactions including IPOs, rights issues and private placements for both corporate and institutional clients in the Asia Pacific region.

Kathleen Chung received their BSE from Jerome Fisher Management and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania. Kathleen also holds a B.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania - School of Engineering and Applied Science, as well as a B.Sc. in Economics from The Wharton School. In addition, they are certified in Series 7, Series 63, and Series 79 from the .
